Envelope Claims: When we first started Simply Renee, we originally included some envelopes in each box. They were something that was an extra, not a necessity for use with the Clip it Up. We were told they would be here in time to ship with the first orders of the Clip it Up. That was in March of 2007. When they didn’t arrive, we had a choice to make: not to ship, or to include a claim the customers could redeem for the envelopes promised along with two extra for having to wait. We didn’t receive the envelopes until September 2007, and then we only received a small portion of the order we had placed. We spent all day, everyday filling the claims in the order we received them, until we ran out. We then paid to have the next shipment flown in and again repeated the process of filling all the claims we had received. After realizing the envelopes could not be produced and shipped as needed, we discontinued including the envelopes in the boxes. We haven’t sent any boxes out with the envelope claim in them since August 1st. It has been six months and we feel we have tried to fill our obligation to redeem the envelope claims as we said we would. We also feel there has been sufficient time for this to take place. We will be taking the envelope claim off of our website as of March 31st.
